NATURE PROGRAMS ARE BEING DESIGNED AND WILL BE ANNOUNCED AUGUST 2017.   CAMP SIZE OF 20 CAMPERS PER TIME SESSION.

Friday September 15, 2017 at 6pm, Author Eddie Price of Widder's Landing and Little Miss Grubby Toes, will be presenting a historical dramatic interpretation.   This event will be presented in the Joe Ford Nature Center park with a brown bag picnic dinner included in the ticket price. Ticket price of $16.50 for adults-children of 6 years of age.  Children under 6-3 $10.50, under 3 is free.  Brown bag will include a sandwich of choice, chips, drink and dessert.  Advance notice is needed to prepare for the meal, please contact

FAMILY EVENTS

At Joe Ford Nature Center, we want to connect people to nature while having a great time as a family. Each year, JFNC offers Music in the Park and other nature related programs.  In 2017 Joe Ford Nature will be offering Nature Camp in June and July and during the Fall and Winter break.  These programs are designed for 7-14 year olds with hands on nature experience.  September 15, 2017 JFNC will host a fundraiser with special guest Eddie Price a local historian who will entertain with a dramatic narrative of Kentucky Owensboro history.  Tickets will go on sale in July call for more information.
